MEET DR. RIGSBY
Dr. Rigsby was born in Mobile and raised in Pensacola. He graduated from Escambia High School. He has been married to his wife, Gloria, for 32 years and they have a daughter, Mandy.
Dr. Rigsby earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in 1975 and a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Samford University in 1978. Pursuing his dental career, he attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1982. After earning his D.M.D., Dr. Rigsby practiced general dentistry in Pensacola for five years before returning to school at Emory University for his orthodontic residency, which he completed in 1990. In 2001, Dr. Rigsby was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Rigsby is a past president of the Escambia-Santa Rosa Dental Association and the Northwest District Dental Association. He is a member of the Greater Pensacola Study Club, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. He is currently a fellow in the American College of Dentistry and the President of the Florida Association of Orthodontics.
Dr. Rigsby is an active member of First Baptist Church and enjoys playing golf.
